Trustees

PYP is run by a Board of Trustees which sets direction and establishes effective and efficient structures for PYP. It provides support to management and volunteers and supervises the solicitation and disposition of donations ensuring accountability. The Board is the ultimate corporate authority for the Positive Youth Programmes and currently consists of four Trustees.

Patrons

Mr Levi Roots a.k.a Keith Valentine Graham was born in Content, Clarendon Parish, Jamaica. Levi Roots, is a Jamaican reggae musician, chef and  entrepreneur. He gained widespread fame after appearing on the UK television programme Dragons’ Den looking for funding for his “Reggae Reggae Sauce”. Reggae Reggae Sauce is a jerk barbecue sauce made to his grandmother’s “secret recipe”.  He appeared in the first episode of the fourth series. Leading from the success of his spicy sauce Mr Roots released an extended version of his song “reggae reggae sauce” which features one of his children (Joanne) on backing vocals. His ‘reggae reggae sauces’ are sold in various supermarkets and restaurants in the UK . He is a keen supporter of youth enterprise and he visits schools to talk about how he became a successful musician and businessman. Mr Roots looks forward to inspiring to empower young people through PYP!!

UK singer, Rowetta is our ‘Dignity Restored’ campaign Patron. Rowetta Satchell, simply known as Rowetta  is an English singer, best known for her appearance on Series 1 of The X Factor, in which she came fourth after Tabby Callaghan, G4 and Steve Brookstein and was the last female in the competition. She is a patron to a number of charities and is a keen HIV and AIDS awareness campaigner.
