Outreach work

Our Detached Youth Workers offer young people new and equal opportunities, empowerment and a chance to influence your communities for the better. Detached Youth Workers are youth workers that go out onto the streets, meeting young people on their terms. You may have been approached by our PYP detached team on the street. They may be able to offer you or your friends help and support on lots of different things, suggest advice, or just have lots of fun activities and games.

PYP are hoping to raise some funds for  an Out and about  van which our detached youth workers will use to meet young people in their own territory: parks, shelters, street corners, colleges, clubs, churches or where young people choose to hang out.  The team offers advice and information on a range of topics, trips, activities and support for young people.
